EtherWAN to Exhibit In-Vehicle Surveillance at IFSEC 2010

EtherWAN plans to showcase its entire line up of industry applications at the IFSEC 2010 in Birmingham, UK, which runs from May 10th to the 13th. EtherWAN's booth number F125 in Hall 4 will accommodate demonstration areas for In-vehicle and Intersection Surveillance Solutions, PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) Switches, Media onverters and Ethernet Extenders.

The market for in-vehicle surveillance is forecasted to grow at an average of 6.5% a year from 2010 to 2013, according IMS Research. Several US cities have introduced legislation that requires cameras in police cars. EtherWAN plans to demonstrate its comprehensive in-vehicle surveillance system that they developed in cooperation with Plustek. In the solution, Plustek provides the rugged & mobile Network Video Recorder (NVR) equipment that can hold up to 48 hours of live recording. EtherWAN's hardened-grade EX46000 Series 8-port PoE Switch offers technology that will provide continuous power over the LAN cable without any interruptions to cameras posted throughout the vehicle. With a temperature ange of up to 75°C (167°F), tested at 85°C (185°F), this industrial grade switch will work even on the hottest summer day even if the bus has no air conditioning. The EX46000, with E4 certification, works with EtherWAN's DD-85-48 power converter, from 12-36VDC to 48VDC, to provide the enough voltage to power the surveillance system in any transportation vehicle. EtherWAN designed the DD-85-48 in order to work with vehicles that require different power input voltage. EtherWAN's R&D continues to find unique networking solutions that go above and beyond the industry's standards.

EtherWAN provides complete solution in the process of IP-Security Network. We have full lineup of Managed, Unmanaged and Web-smart PoE Ethernet Switches with 8-port up to 24-port, from Din-rail, Rack-mounting and desktop to choose from. EtherWAN has launched products compliant with both 802.3af and 802.3at, and has revolutionized the Security industry with PoE, from pampered to robust units that are easy to adapt to any harsh environment.

EtherWAN specializes in designing hardened-grade networking equipments. We have products that meet the UL1604 Class 1, Div. 2 standard for hazardous explosive environment, such as the EX73000, which offers superior protection in rugged and harsh environments. EtherWAN’s EX73000 series feature the α-Ring, EtherWAN's fault tolerant technology for ring-type topologies which features a recovery time of less than 15 milliseconds. This allows the Ethernet to be configured as redundant rings making it ideal for mission critical operations.

EtherWAN is exhibiting at IFSEC to show their dedication to creating innovations in the security industry that will attract new customers from around the world. Visit EtherWAN at IFSEC booth F125 in Hall 4 to learn more about why EtherWAN is an expert in IP-Security Network.
